LYRE MUSIC: Hugh Baker, right, provides the music for Florence Mackay's business CD
A HYPNOTHERAPIST from For- est Row has asked a local lyre ex- pert to provide some of the music for her life-changing CDs.
Florence Mackay, 46, of Black- lands Crescent, who practises from the Ashdown Natural Health Clinic, aims to help people achieve their goals and develop new skills through the Mind Harmony project.
With CDs on issues such as weight control, confidence and fear of flying, Mrs Mackay hopes to improve the quality of life for those who listen to them.
A self-taught lyre expert, Hugh Baker, of Wray Close, Ashurst, Wood, often tours in Europe and the USA, singing as well as playing.
Mrs Mackay decided to ask him to get involved in the recording of the CDs because the lyre was used to produce music for thera- peutic purposes in ancient Greek times.
She said: "Listening regularly to these CDs will enable people to break through their limiting beliefs and allow them to consistently achieve their best."
She said she would soon be working on new CDs on stopping smoking, insomnia and public speaking.
Some of the proceeds are being donated to Step by Step, an independent school for autistic children aged between five and 16 in Sharpthorne.
